It’s been a busy few weeks at AFC Wimbledon with club coffers boosted by recent transfer activity, but Chief Executive Erik Samuelson has stressed the importance of fans continuing to support the We Are Wimbledon Fund.

Erik was speaking in a video news update about recent events at the club, which can be accessed via the link below.


Erik said: “To put things into perspective, even with the fee we will receive from Jake Reeves going, we are still budgeting for a fairly hefty loss for the coming season. We are committed to making sure that Neal has all the resources we can possibly afford and that’s why we are asking fans to help by supporting the We Are Wimbledon Fund and the Dons Draw.”

We know that a large number of people read the e-mail that we asked Erik to send out. Many of those clicked onto the direct debit form, but then did not complete their donation. If you were one of those people and you have a question about the Direct Debit form/process, e-mail  .

The main way for fans to contribute is via a direct debit form  from the We Are Wimbledon Fund website. There is an option for supporters to make one-off payments via this form. In the section that says ‘Payment Schedule, where it asks for the ‘End’ date, simply select ‘Take certain number of debits’ and a new box will open to choose option 1.

If you intended to donate but didn’t finalise the process, we urge you to go back to the direct debit form and finish the process. Every penny counts with some great challenges ahead in the coming season.
