Not everyone who wants to invest in Plough Lane has the means to invest a minimum of £1,000. We Are Wimbledon Fund (WAWF) understand this, so today we are officially launching an initiative that allows individuals to invest with a lower contribution, the minimum being £50 and the maximum £950.
WAWF will collect payments from as many people as wish to sign up, and once funds have been received, WAWF will purchase two Plough Lane Bonds; a 5 year bond @ 2% interest and a 10 year bond @ 3% interest, these will then be known as WAWF Plough Lane Bonds.
WAWF Plough Lane Bonds will pay interest at the end of the bond term, and not annually, as with the main Plough Lane Bond. When signing up, participants can choose to donate their interest to WAWF campaigns.
